Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Assist with the HR functions and duties
- Provide assistance to the HR Manager
- Maintain employee records
- Recruitment of candidates, communicating with recruiters and candidates, scheduling interviews and feedback sessions with the team, conducting reference checks
- Facilitate onboarding and induction of new employees, offboarding for terminations
- Conduct feedback sessions with new starts
- Conduct exit interviews
- Conduct annual and ad-hoc benchmarking
- Preparation and completion of Employment Equity reports and submission thereof, facilitation of EE committee meetings
- Preparation and completion of Workplace Skills Plan reports, submissions, tracking completed training throughout the year.
- Research and arrangement of training for employees.
- Support employees with HR related queries.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
- 5+ years’ experience in general HR experience preferably in the Fintech sector
- 3+ years experience with Sage 300 Payroll
- Strong knowledge and experience of SA Labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, MISETA)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams
- Empathetic attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Ability to work remotely
