Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Assist with the HR functions and duties
  • Provide assistance to the HR Manager
  • Maintain employee records
  • Recruitment of candidates, communicating with recruiters and candidates, scheduling interviews and feedback sessions with the team, conducting reference checks
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction of new employees, offboarding for terminations
  • Conduct feedback sessions with new starts
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Conduct annual and ad-hoc benchmarking
  • Preparation and completion of Employment Equity reports and submission thereof, facilitation of EE committee meetings
  • Preparation and completion of Workplace Skills Plan reports, submissions, tracking completed training throughout the year.
  • Research and arrangement of training for employees.
  • Support employees with HR related queries.

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in general HR experience preferably in the Fintech sector
  • 3+ years experience with Sage 300 Payroll
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SA Labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, MISETA)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams
  • Empathetic attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Ability to work remotely
